Ghost Ridin’ at Work
I came back from lunch yesterday and the black spider thing filled with candy and glow sticks was left at my desk. In short: it’s a chain letter-ish kinda thing and once you get one, you create your own goodie bag for two other people and pass it on until everybody has a “ghost” next to their name tag (included in the goodie bag). Seriously made my day at work haha. I felt so cool.
On the right are the two good bags that I made. I went to Target on my lunch break, which is definitely not a good idea, and bought stuff to make them.

My supervisor came by and saw my glow sticks and very excitedly said that we can have a rave in the closet (where our orientation supplies are).

Work is going well. I’m getting a lot more responsibilities and taught myself about the company’s HMOs, PPOs, etc. I’m going to be helping out with Open Enrollment (the one time a year when employees can change their health insurance coverage) and need to be able to answer questions. I think I got all the info down.
I’ve realized that work is kind of like doing homework, but getting paid for it.
